Buying Canadian dollars in Fort Lauderdale
Every winter, thousands of Canadians spend the season along the Broward coast, from Fort Lauderdale up to Lauderdale-by-the-Sea and Pompano Beach. When spring comes and it's time to drive or fly home, Canadian dollars in hand cover the first days back: gas on the road, a coffee at the airport, a cab home. Floridians heading north to Toronto, Montréal or Vancouver need them for the same reasons.
The store closest to snowbird country
Our Coral Ridge Mall store, at 3200 N Federal Hwy in Fort Lauderdale, is open 11 AM to 7 PM and is a short drive from Lauderdale-by-the-Sea and Pompano Beach. In Miami, Bayside Marketplace is open 9 AM to 7 PM. Pickup is free at both, and you bring the photo ID you used on the order.
Order, lock, collect
Enter the amount in the quoter to see today's rate and the total in US dollars. Placing the order holds that rate for 24 hours. Online orders start at $300 with a $5 processing fee shown at checkout, and you can pay by ACH bank transfer or in cash at pickup. Prefer delivery to your Florida address? FedEx 2-Day costs $24 and Overnight $29; orders placed after 5 PM Eastern Time are processed the next business day.
Subject to availability
Many snowbirds head home in the same few weeks, and stock is subject to availability. If we can't cover your amount, we place a special order that takes 3 business days, with a $500 minimum and a $10 fee; paying cash at pickup requires a $100 deposit by Zelle or ACH within 24 hours. Order before your last week in Florida.
